Clearly the calendar says, October.
So this is Autumns turn, to visit here.
The trees are screaming Fall- the grasses do agree.
Yet Ole' Man Winter, has arrived early.


Hes being rude to Autumn, trying to make Her leave.
Shes not giving up yet, to some peoples relief.
The air is in the thirties when it should be fifty- sixty.
The rain is mixed with ice and snow, can you believe?


The wind has a chill factor, of wintery degree.
People have turned their heat on, to keep them company.
Long underware and sweaters- have come out of store.
Blankets and quilts, around once more.


Hot cocoa is being drank, by those who have been chilled.
People wear their winter coats, with hoods and hats on too.
The wind is blustery and- trying to nip everyone.
Autumn is barely able, to keep hanging on.


Fires are being lit, in woodstove or fireplace.
Seems everyone is bundling up, wrapped up to their face.
Yet I stand here NAKED- not even feeling a chill.
Some may ask are you crazy, or are you ill?


I feel the warmth of long underware, the warmth of sweaters too.
Its as if I'm wraped up in a blanket, or a quilt too.
I feel as if I've drank hot cocoa- warmed from inside out.
No need to light a fire, or wear a winters coat about.


I may stand here bared, but I am warmed through and through.
You ask me how can that be- well I am telling you.
I'm warmed from the very depths, of my very soul.
Warmer perhaps, than ever have I known.


Do you feel the warmth, radiate from me?
I Feel it warm me from my head- to my feet.
The warmth I feel is easily exsplained- so no I'm not insane.
It's "The Warmth of A Mans Words", keeping me Warm this way.
