I just looked it up they are rodents and come from the Andes.
They have a long history in animal experimentation for medical purposes. I have a feeling they do make a sound, squeak. Very sad. I hope they stop using these poor animals for experiments. |

Yes, I hope they stop all animal abuse, for some reason they have used the guinee pig since the 1700's I think that is long enough. |

Im thinking of getting a pet guinua pig,they look cool! They're very active, and affectionate and need time with you. If you can't give them your attention then you should get a second one to keep each other company or not get one at all |
