When I startled
myself to sleep, When I tried to climb out of that sludge Almost waist deep When I tried..... Yes.......that was the...... Only a dream, Those were the only times, When I scalded my insides with a scream What was hidden there? What had been walled? Just a run through, Just a draft, Just something there, to rip apart, suddenly smash the pieces never Leave, and you never Leaf Suck in that same old hole, not even sure Which one's your right way to go. Well.....I'm here, All smiles and wide awake: "I remember a fear, I remember digging around for it in a waist-deep foul lake." |

I think she lives just down the street. Do you think she can see just how this is? I feel you could help her It is what I believe. Stuck for so long under the mud nearly crusted. Unable to claw her way, no one to be trusted. Tired and weary she just sits and stares. Cannot even sort between breathing and fears. Someone I know Wanting to scream. I think she's just realized this is not her best dream. Raine Les 10/6/2009 |
