What a boring day! No action on here either. The crappy weather doesn't help much. You? |

Agree! I might go outside and pull out all my dahlias and prep them for next year's planting if the action is not going to change...

You still have flowers blooming? Lucky you. We didn't even have a summer, well maybe 4 or 5 days of it....then right into winter.

Crappy weather is crappy. Really put a damp in my day. :(
I saw Zombieland today though it was alot better than I expected. :D |

Yes, but it's been raining here for 5 days straight and it is cold so I am pulling my dahlias now....

Rain sucks. At least if it's cold, you can still do something outdoors. I didn't realize the bulb plants needed to be pulled out every fall. Why can't you just leave them in the ground?

Beautiful day here, clear sky and in mid 80's. Sorry Good for you, depressing for me. There is nowhere to live in Canada to get away from damn winter. Get so tired of it year after year.......... My brother lives in Fla. and always calls to bug me when they're sitting around the pool while I freeze my azz off up here. |

I used to not pull them out on the ground and they just rotten down there for a long period of winter. So, I spend a lot of money buying new bulbs to plant in my garden and it is getting expensive.... So, due to economic downturn, I am pulling mine the first time .... |

The recession has made most of us do things we never did before -- nor not do things we used to. Good luck with those bulbs next year. Maybe it will be a better one weather wise. |
