If you need smaller boxes and such, go to usps.com and order their flat rate boxes. Several different sizes, ans all are free. Tape and labels are free, too. They're not intended for uses other than shipping, but what they don't know won't hurt them. I just moved. Home depot has really cheap boxes, so check there first. They were cheaper than anywhere else. I only bought boxes because I ran out last minute. |

I would have done so, but I just ran out of time at the end. Though, I got medium sized boxes from home depot for under a dollar. Large boxes were under two dollars. |

I've lived in 46 (soon to be 47) houses in 36 years. I'm a master packer & mover.
I've been using the same boxes that I've scrounged here and there for the last 10 moves.
Luckily I'm only moving about 2.5 hours away, so I'm able to take most of the boxes in my pick up. Still trying to work the details out on the fridge, sofa, bed and dresser. It will happen. Seamac... good luck on the move. I know how tough it can be. Keep your chin up and think of all the new hidey holes you will have for your stuff in the new place. |
