A friend of mine recommended I shorten my profile down. but I dunno. personally I like a longer profile because it gives someone more room to ask questions and start conversation.

Any advice?

Like a good novel...length isn't the most critical aspect. Looks ok this length. You say your mom influenced you...how? Otherwise, go with what you think represents you. Good luck...and I know you sense a sense of urgency...but live with it a day or so...reflect.

your photos show personality. your profile write up is borderline too long. but just borderline. i think women in general will take time to read. I believe it is men in general that don't like the read a woman's profile that is too long. Your good i think.

If you have the material to do a long profile, then you should do it. Mine is 1400 pages long and it gets a lot of views.

The way I see it, more information is better than no information. I can't generate much enthusiasm about someone whose entire profile is "I don't know what to write here."

But I have seen a few long profiles which weren't really very good. These are usually just endless bitter rantings about ex-partners, that go on and on and on. If they're well-written, that's one thing, but a lot of times they're more like juumbled-up Scrabble tiles on the floor.
