Why do I do this Why am I crying Why am I freaking out Why am I doubting The other night was absolutely amazing The level of intimacy was more than I have experienced before And you have giving me no reason for my reaction Could I blame this on past experiences Popping up and causing emotional havoc Could I be perpetuating self-fulfilling Prophesies that it just won't work Please let this be right Please don't let me scare you away Please just let me be able To let my guard down And let you in. Why Please part 2 - Me Can you see past all this foggy emotions Can you truly see me Do you truly care for me I want so bad for you to SEE me Me So many claim to have seen me Did they really Truly Did they really know my beauty my intelligence my humor Me They said they did know me They might have said that For their own means Me well the 'me' right now is freaking out the 'me' right now is crying the 'me' right now is wishing for confirmation the 'me' right now is wondering why I have to be this emotional The me is wishing you were here to hold me The me is wanting to be told that is okay The me is longing for you to tell me that I am your be all end all. Is me just wishing for a fairytale?

Part 3 - Passing of a vow Well, the clock has ticked past midnight And I sense of relief came over me When I realized the word vow was no longer binding me So with a simple message It will be up to you. You are no longer obligated to respond But if you do, it will show That your intentions were true And I didn't read anything into your words touch smile So, I wait Not emotional Just going to see where this goes.
