This is sort of a honesty game. Something anyone can do without an
argument.

I have felt the urge to take my will and force it on others. To which I
have to take a step back and realize it is not mine to give. All I can
do is share.

Thankyou Scttrbrian. As humans we get carried away with emotions to the
point, we get blind to see if we hurt someone or if we're too foreceful.

For some when you care so much, you get a bit pushy or aggressive.

Okay, my temptations are lustful thoughts every once and awhile. I'm a
single "youngin'" and when you're lonely, the hormones go kicking
regardless if it's intentional or not.

Another temptation, I tend run off at the mouth when angry, upset or
frustrated. As the scriptures say "tame the tongue," that's what I want
to work on.

right now, it's definitely the lustful thoughts. having been emotionally
checked out from my marriage for the last 3 years, and having tried
counseling and giving as much as i could to keep the marriage going, i'm
just kinda worn out and ready to find a man who is at least willing to
meet me half way, but definitely someone i'd WANT to go 100++% for.

i'm filing next week, if my paycheck allows. even though i know i won't
be ready to be seriously exclusive with someone right away, i'm not one
to let loose or give myself to just anyone. but, dang, mexican blood
sure burns hot! lol

anyway.. thanks for creating this thread. i like "real" topics. this is
good.

I can't believe all you young ladies are having such problems with lust,
but I have a solution that will completely kill your sex drive: marry
me. It worked for my ex, so I'm sure it will work for you.

Haha! Thankyou WhimFish and Jesse (petite kitten) I see I'm not the only

uhh!!! Shocked and with mouth wide open! I aint old...just haven't found
anyone to settle with. I haven't been in a serious relationship for
about 6 years now. I had a couple of dates a couple of years ago with
the same guy.lol

haha you're so funny. The mindset on what's "old" today is different.
40's and 50's is the thriving age today.

It's also an individual thing. If you have a personality as vibrant as a
teenager or a kid, you're forever young :)

wonder NEVER in a million years would I imagine lust being a temptation

I know he's human. I seem him more eager in anything that deals with
Christ LOL. Not to say I'm not.

The hormonal thing is not a problem like it was when I was younger. This
site; my meetings and my job help me to deal with the loneliness thing.
Being true to myself is important because my recovery depends on that. I
like having friends. Being truthful to myself and others at the same
time is a major issue that I am dealing with now and have been dealing
with for some time.

rainbowtrout we all battle to be TRUE to ourselves from time to time to
avoid putting on that emotional barrier or "mask"

He is still human. Christ is the only perfect ONE. Priests lust.
Preachers get married. You ae putting him too high on a pedistal. He is
fallable. To do that will compromise your faith when you see him be
human. He is a good teller of God, but he is a man, not perfect in
flesh. Listen to him, be a good listener, but do not give him that much
power in your faith. I hope you understood what I was saying.
