I used to know
exactly where I belonged
I used to know exactly who I was
But now I am lost and alone.

Months ago I had very few friends
Now I have 96 more friends
That I cherish more than anything.
But I am still lost and alone.

I have tried other sites
And met other people
Went back to the old favorites
And still don't fit in
Lost and alone is all that I am.

I wait, wonder and worry about you
The days that you are not here
Seem like weeks before we talk again
The time we talk seems like seconds
When you are on, I am not alone, nor am I lost

I used to be strong
I used to have a place
I used to know what happens to me
Now that our souls have intertwined
I am without a direction

I feel like I am drifting.............
So lost............
So alone.......

Porcelain took offense via email to my post above. I'm not sure why. If
my post struck anyone else as offensive, I apolgize and would greatly
appreciate an explanation of why it did so. In any case, I emailed her
back:

I'm very sorry I offended you -- I meant nothing but respect and
support. Couldn't imagine that it might actually offend you.

I'll post a retraction in the Poetry thread, and not respond to any
other posting you make.

Before you posted this apoolgy did you read ALL of the e~mails that I
had sent you?

You did not offend me, I was just too upset to see through the tears and
read exactly what you posted.

I am the one that is sorry, and I do hope that you can forgive me.

fp your never alone with all of this gang, i know it seems like it at
times. but all you need to do is reach out and your friends will be
there.
