sometimes earthy it becomes a term of endearment that started from not being able to speak properly when a small tot... For me I'd really rather not be called grandma at this time, I'm just not ready to be called that...

Heck my little brother is lucky his name didn't stick, my other brother couldn't say his name so somehow came up with "fruity" laugh laugh

Oh i know, it just reminds me of how people dont encourage their kids to speak properly, or how they have kids that shuffle their feet like they are lacking mentally.. little foot draggers. EH! cant stand them.

Still have no idea why people would get older and would want to speak like they are 2.. WIERD.

Thank God my son follows what he was taught.

Well I totally understand that.. I do not condone not speaking properly... My son's call their grandparents grandma and grandpa and my grams was nana until I was older and I'm sure I'll be grams later but right now it's not something I think I can handle but hey, I didn't think I could handle being one and I'm getting used to it so I never say never.... LOL

But some of the names are cute and endearing so for that I don't consider proper or not unless of course it's just way, way whacked out... laugh laugh
