No race issues with Obama? They are there. One has to live in a bubble to not see them.

What about the signs that have Obama white faced? The signs that say, "Go back to Kenya?" The signs that call him witch doctor?

Regan was compared to Bonzo.
Sure, some have issues with him only being half white, half black or Mullato.
It, however, isn't the rule or the majority and it is slanderous to claim racism when it can't be proven.

If you were to call me a racist, I could sue you for slander and win. You have the burden of proof and you have no evidence at all.

Libs bring up race because they have no real argument so they have to try and back peddle people with outrageous accusations, problem is they have run racist, bigot etc into the ground because they've used it so much. It just shows their lack of intellect as they try to portray themselves as being "enlightened".

Problem is that some people can sound and act racist even if they are not, or we assume that they aren't because they say they aren't even when they use language and actions that racists use.

It's just as difficult to sue someone for slander as it is to sue over racism. Racism doesn't have to be in the majority for it to be distructive either. Having been the very first white girl to be sent to a school of all blacks (girls) in 1967, I am all too familiar with racism and the affects of racism in the black community. If you are sheltered in any way in your own experience you won't notice what others notice that have been exposed to both sides.

You can find racism and sexism in anything if you look hard enough. They are giving people a red herring to chase after.

If racism is the primary issue for disagreements between Obama and the people, I wonder, where were all these racists DURING the election....

I saw those racists during the election online and offline. I was surprised when I saw it here.

I lived it too. My Dad's best friend is a Democrat that voted for McCain because Obama was black. He won't vote for a black man. Somebody that I was dating told me that he didn't vote for Obama because he didn't want a black man in the White House. Well, I don't date him anymore. lol

Ummm.... Obama won the popular vote. He isn't popular anymore. People are blaming racism on this. So, why did racism automatically sprout up?

I didn't vote for him. Nor did i support the majority of his policies. Do you think I am a racist?

Do you think it possible, that when people increasingly dissaprove of his policies, it may have been because people just don't like the policies?

Do you think racism was involved when so many people attacked Bush's policies?

Yes, he did win the popular vote - in spite of the racism.

I think he's still popular. I think the racist people are getting louder though. I also think the people against his policies and anti-Democrats are getting louder too.

I know that there are people that disapprove of his policies. I never said differently. I'm talking about the racist issue.

Truthfully I've only met 3 white racists here in Tucson, I'm sure there are more but I haven't met them. I have met and heard quite a few hispanic racists though and they definitely out number the white racist so far, so I find it odd that people only talk about the white racism.

Noone says that all the disagreements are racist. For example not wanting your children to view the president making an education speech was totally racist and those who believed otherwise were too sheeple to realize they were following the racists down the road.

You can tell who the racists are. They are the ones screaming unintelligent lies all the time about the president. It is all over the place.

Some people do not even realize that the issues are started by the racists they just ride the ride.

It comes from Americans not taking enough time to research who starts what lies and why. Or some of them are too ignorant to understand because of their upbringing and lack of exposure to differeent people.

I Think he was a bad president in both terms frankly (although i didn't always think this).

But to be honest, i think there was in fact racism against Bush, just like there is agains Obama. But i don't believe for a minute that the majority or even a significant number of protesters do this for a racist cause.

Dragoness's photo

Former President Jimmy Carter drew widespread criticism Wednesday for saying in an interview that Rep. Joe Wilson's "You lie!" outburst last week was "based on racism" and that an "overwhelming portion" of similar demonstrations against President Obama are rooted in bigotry.

Obama's supporters have attributed racist motives to some opponents of his health care plan for weeks, but Carter is the highest-profile person so far to push that claim.

While some anti-Obama demonstrators have been seen carrying over-the-top or racially offensive signs, administration critics say Carter is flat wrong to claim that those fringe protesters make up the bulk of Obama's detractors.

"I don't see race as an issue. It's all about the policies that are coming out of the current administration," said Deneen Borelli, a black conservative who spoke at the protest rally held in Washington Saturday. Much of the condemnation of Obama's critics has come as a response to that protest, where tens of thousands demonstrated against big government and over-spending.

"I just see this as the race card being used once again to distract the American people from the core issues," Borelli said.

Adam Brandon, spokesman for protest organizer FreedomWorks, said Carter's comments were "absurd." He noted that the protest featured about a dozen black speakers.

"To say this crowd was racist is absolutely absurd when black speakers were probably the most popular speakers," he said.

Race card is a term made up by racists to cover the racism they do against others. It is not even a valid term.
