When is it appropriate? If you ask me, then 364 days a year, with the exception of this one. That might be only my opinion though. I don't get it I guess. The truth movement is bad mouthed and they routinely have their free speech rights violated throughout the year, but they're also demonized for not respecting the dead on the one day that their message is the most pertinent? |

Read all the post on the conspiracy theories and I don't buy into them. Plain and simple - a bunch of arab guys took advantage of America's laxed security and flew some airplanes into some tall buildings. The funding came from people that hated the US. Not difficult at all. Look at our border with Mexico and it stands to reason that something of the same magnitude could easily be perpetrated on the US again. Maybe not now with planes but with something else. Why no more attacks -the secret to that is how the US reacted militarily in that region. Too heavy a price has been paid by the arab world. Call me nuts if you want. I extend my sympathies to the families of those who were killed on that day. You know I won't say anything but "bunch of Arabs" is quite a vague expression. You do know that they weren't even all Arabs. Most of them were Africans (Egyptians), unless of course you refer to their race, which again, is stereotyping. I hear ya and can only tell ya my intent was not to stereotype Arabs. Nor was it an attempt to reflect badly on Arabs. The point I intended to make is how easy it was and in many ways still is, for a bunch of anybodies that really hated America to orchestrate easily a 911 or even another one tomorrow. And that it wouldn't take an elaborate conspiracy to once again equal another 911. |

I'm with Atlantis on this one, War. It's all about respect for the dead today. To talk about the politics of it, takes the attention away from the ones that left us. It's a day for remembering them. ![]() |

I'll lay my support behind the Truth Movement, who take action, do whats right. |

It's the anniversary of their deaths, War. That is a time for mourning and remembering them.

We're just not going to agree here, All year, we hear about 9/11, but when someone asks a serious question, it's pushed aside as disrespectful to the families. Big problem is the majority of the families want a new investigation and are part of the truth movement.
So are they being disrespectful too? You're right, its the anniversary of their deaths, 8 years later, still in Iraq, still in Afghanistan, Bombing the crap out of parts of Pakistan and what do we have to show for it? The investigation is full of lies, cover ups, and no Bin Laden. Plus, our civil liberties are in just as much danger now as they ever were under the Bush-Cheney folks. Nothing has changed other than the name. So what did those people in the Towers, Pentagon and planes die for? |

And that it wouldn't take an elaborate conspiracy to once again equal another 911. Well you see, the reason is because nobody wanted to give a serious look after several warnings of an impending attack from all different sources almost up to a year before it happened. This is no conspiracy, it's a well known fact. The attack could have not happened if they took the reports seriously and have a few birds flying regularly (meaning fighter jets) and the airport security and border would have been beefed up already. Some will disagree but pilots and crew trained with firearms (make it mandatory) could have prevented the whole thing. |

Sad for the victims and families. But, to the orchestrators, it has been a success. It accomplished it's intended purpouse. It made people rally around the Gov. The people got angry enough to look for someone to blame and want revenge, someone to kill. The Gov. was able to come up with an enemy quick enough to keep the focus off of who could really been responsable. Bin Laden, if he accepted the assignment to be the patsy, under protection, will die a natural death and live a life fit for a king. JMO. I think Osama Bin Laden is DEAD because no Administration official wants to try an innocent person who has nothing to do with a crime as he or she does not predict the court ruling . I think that 9/11 was was an inside dirty job by the G.W. Bush Administration . Alas....and alas....Obama did not order a full inquiry to tell us what exactly happened 8 years ago . Who believes G.W. Bush and his notorious gang like Dick Cheney, Donald Rumesfeld, Paul Wolfowitz....etc ? . |
