After much consideration I believe the answer is brain damage ... If they say they want one thing ... you are pretty much on track if you 'hear' them saying the opposite ... 
Of course, some of it is just semantics ... "Oh yes, I like strong, independent women" ... means submissive everywhere except the bedroom "I like a 'lady'" ... is a bit of a tricky one ... we would infer manners, class, perhaps a little conservative ... but we would be wrong ... he just means he likes boobs ...

thinking we have brain damage? thats just not cool though. no actually ... my answer to the question what men are looking for was a 'woman with brain damage' and I wasn't being serious ... at all ... semantics? why use that word? whats it do other than make your "typical" man get that goofy look and make you think he has "brain damage?" semantics is only a 3 syllable word and it happens to be an everyday kind of word for me ... no, I don't use it so people think I am smart. People will form all sorts of opinions about me that really are none of my business. In direct conversation with people, I meet them where they are because it is important to me that people feel comfortable ... and of course you're going to say that. because you don't want a guy like me saying what i just did. What is 'a guy like you'? And why would I take offense? My intention was humour ... nothing more ...
