So my beloved Yankees are in Toronto tonight, facing the best pitcher in the entire MLB....now, some of you might call me traitor, being as the Toronto Blue Jays are only an hour from me....but A-Rod, Jeter, Swisher, Mark Tex, Matsui, CC Sebathia....how can i not LOVE the YANKEES!

I do feel your pain. I'm also a Jets fan... And a Rangers fan. Although in fairness they've each won one championship in my lifetime. I'm not sure about the Rangers, but I'm firmly convinced the Jets will win their second Super Bowl the year after I die. |

I'm a big Browns fan too......

I will not say thay are underappreciated because those that know good music get it, but I will say they do not get their rightful place in the pantheon of great bands. IMO, they're right up with the very best of the British bands. However, Americans mostly do not get them because they're so quintessentially British. |

It had more to do with the fact they were banned from touring the U.S. from 66-71. Those were very crucial years in the success of The Who, The Kinks, Yardbirds/Zep etc... That and people in this country do not get stuff like Village Green Preservation Society and Afternoon Tea. The Beatles, Stones, and Who sang songs American teens could relate to. The Kinks were just too British in their sensibilities. And yes, Ray Davies looks did not help either. |

Blah Blah Blah.. I actually went to a game at the old Yankees stadium. It was vs. the Indians. I had to leave in the 7th inning. The Yankees was up 25 - 2. True story....
