I quite often get IM requests. I say OK, then the other person can't even hold up their end of the conversation. I do realize that not everyone has great typing skills, but, good Lord, I am getting tired and frustrated with one word responses. Why IM me if you're not prepared for at least a half decent chat? Anyone else feel the same way?

I don't use my IM, I just keep it turned off.

That feature really is almost useless on this site.

I see you and I have been talking to the same people....! A Gilbert Gottfried coloring book might be more interesting than they are....!

It's an insurance company, they use a duck on their commercials, and Gilbert does the voice of the duck. It's sort of a closed conceptual loop. I like that sort of stuff.

You know what i like better?


Emailing.. people can respond at leisure.. everythings cool, and you can do other stuff inbetween.. everyone has a life, everyones happy.

That happens to me all the time! It is very frustrating. I am not sure why someone would say they want to chat, then say nothing! frustrated frustrated
