The whole day spent in anticipation.

We have plans to indulge in some mental penetration.

Truth bears fruit revealing every trick up the sleeve.

She weighs in on her past and wall of fame.
He brags to his friends in attempt to better his name.
It gets back like it always does.
Now wondering what happened to what once was.

When we first met it was more than just right.
Never regret or forget how we held so tight.
I can still here your voice calling my name.
But without you here it's just not the same.

Silken was the sound her voice would make.
Wilted flowers from our past lay on the window sill.
I can remember every promise you choose to break .
My head's reluctant but my heart belongs with you still.

In this dream all fear is gone and real love never goes away.
We share thoughts before our minds can think of what their going to say.
She can paint a picture in her head and I'd illustrate it with great ease.
I bring her shade on hot & sunny days with a little twist of breeze.

So open to be ashamed is not an option to which I can resign.
I'm hoping that our flame can be rekindled in some time.
I've come down feeling the shock of my egotistical buzz.
I wonder no longer what happened to what once was.
