My day? aggrivating and stressful as usual.. I decided I wasn't working tonight even though I left work before 7 instead of 8 like I normally do... lol

This year I have had to start using readers...sucks. They tell me it's an age thing... I dunoooooo

I started using those too this year. I call them cheaters because I find these cool ones in little shops just for reading. I found some purple with white dots, black and white striped. They are wild!

I'm nearsighted in one eye and farsighted in the other.. figure that one out! I wasn't before, I had 20/25 and 20/35 now one eye (not sure which) is 20/85 what the heLl is that about???

Due to the far and near sightedness I had to get a pair of reading glasses and well I don't know what they call the other but it's for driving and things far away... At any rate b/c I'm a brat and wanted the smaller frames, I had to get 2 pairs... AND b/c I only liked the Versace's I walked out of the store $1200 later thanking God for my insurance that paid 1/2 of it... Love the glasses but the new issue is in meetings I can't see the projector screen without my distance glasses (remembered the name lol) and then I can't write notes without my reading glasses or no glasses.. What a pain in the azz, I should have just gotten one pair of bigger frames.. LOL...

oh they do sound fun...I need a fun pair. Mine have fake jewels on them and I feel like an old lady when I wear the..I'm gonna go get a purple pair

I've heard of that. I 've known people that got contacts where one was for distance and one for upclose. I'd be falling all over the place.

I got some rx reading glasses a year or so ago but she convinced me to get bifocals. They were line less so you couldn't tell when you'd looked into the other lense until you just did! I almost fell on the stairs. I swear they need one of those little stickers that say "Objects are closer than they appear"!

Connie that's how I was when I first got glasses... I just think I should have been smarter about it but I was used to not wearing distance glasses except for driving, now I need them to see projection screens and computer screens in meetings so I have to carry 2 pairs or not see.. sometimes I choose blurred vision..

I can see distance just fine still. It's reading or the CNN ticker or something small like that that gets me. I realized I needed reading glasses. It was either that or my arm needed to get longer!!!
