i lay black roses at the base
of my soul thats laid to rest,
a fixed look of sadness on its face,
the body a tattered mess,
i dream of the days that it was free,
full of love and flying high,
but through my soul the world i see,
and it slowly began to die,
selfish anger,hate & greed,
wars based on religion and lies,
slowly crushed my souls seed,
and the plant of my spirit dies,
i wait to see some sign of life,
in my tattered soul laying there,
it gives a twitch & a little sigh,
must mean there's still people that care,
so patiently i will await
and watch it carefully,
if i see it start to breathe again,
i'll have some hope for humanity.

i had to bring this back...
i watch the news and see how fellow humans treat each other and it is VERY depressing to see such disreguard for each other...people walking past others bleeding in the street.. all the self centeredness, its hard to look at the world/humanity..but i do know there is hope.......so i patiently watch

society is.... god i dont even know what to say.....its just disturbing to know how selfish, mean spirited, cruel, judgmental and injust humanity can be....
i almost hope the world does end in 2012........

thank you...i have my doubts on humanity....but i am alway pretty optimistic...i do know there is hope in individuals
