I am in Minnesota, land of the LIBERAL. Don't give me that crap! The
only condition that must be met is that they must be sober. That, sadly,
is a choice that takes a back seat to the next drink or fix. Do the
research. Food comes after the high. Yes, there are people that can
truly be classified as "homeless" and there are then many who are bums.
Addicts, alcoholics, and some that have mental issues. Come to downtown
St. Paul. They are everywherenoway

I have lived it.

Sure you can get a meal (in denver they call it the Golden Triangle).
You can go to a Salvation Army house. But it ain't as easy as you
think.

Research...

Want to research it get rid of all you own but the cloths on your back.
Go to a city you don't know. See how you survive.

Any other research is simply listening to other people with 'do good'
intentions and no knowledge of the realities of the situation.

There isn't a church out there that would not support a homeless person
to get back on their feet. People remain "homeless" by choice.

Oh you can climb out I did. I did not use a church or state help I just
climbed out.

But it is easer to sell a stolen item than it is to get a shower. It is
easer to break into a car than to get a meal. No lines quick service
and they don't ask you to buy into their rituals.

Neither way really helps a person climb out. Only real way out is on
your feet and moving.
