Topic: Boyfriend going out with friends? | |
---|---|
the other night he rang me to say he'll give me a call after work to plan what we would do for the night a few hours later he calls to tell me he's down at the club with his frends and thought he better see if i wanted to come out...when i got there he seemed so fake like he really didn't want me to be there....he's done this a few times however when he has made plans with me or has said he will call to make plans with me but he's either alreay out with them or calls to see if i don't mind changing plans with him because of them......the relationship is only new so i don't know if maybe i'm over reacting or is it something i should be talking to him about because it's not making me feel so good that he wants to be changing plans or delay seeing me so he can go out with his friends...i don't mind him going out with his friends i like them but surely it's right to be leaving me behind in the process...i'm scared to say anything coz i don't want to sound needy or jealous

I think I would just turn him down and go out with my friends. JMO. Maybe after a few times of doing this he would quit. If not then he just might not be that into you. IDK

If you trust him then it should not be a problem. I would think he would want you with him he may just want some time to himself and friends. Use your own judgement on this one you know the situation better than anyone.

Couples NEED time apart. Just sit him down and tell him he's free to go out with his friends WITHOUT YOU but if he makes plans with you, even tentative plans, you expect him to honor that committment. When he's with his friends, you do your thing. Simple.

It's o.k. to be flexible. But if he is always making plans with you and then not following thru with them, changing them without talking to you, etc., I would say that is kind of rude. Not a good sign, early on in a relationship. Personally, I would confront him on it and see how he reacts. See if he is willing to change his behavior. Don't put up with rudeness.

it's one thing to do that once in a while. It's another thing to do it consistently
guys will be a little more distant around there friends. They have to show there friends that they still have their testicles (even if they dont really) but if he is disrespectful that's a different thing |
