Good Morning All!!!!

Beautiful, sunny day here in southern Alberta. It's chinooking and the temp. is supposed to go up to 17C. I think old man winter is giving us a little reprieve while planning his nasty deeds for the months to come. Anybody else hate winter as much as I do? With each passing year? More and more?

I grew up in Pa ( nothing like Alberta ) Went into the Mil and was sent to - Labrador = LOL Then worked for the next 40 in Pa with all its nasty winters.
So - Now I'm in Fl - No more shoveling ice and snow

But good morning to all! Having some green tea and waiting for a friend in need to get on Yahoo. Another beautiful day here.

Rob, I have a brother in Florida. He enjoys taunting me with his tales of sitting around the pool while I'm freezing my azz off. Now I have two of you!

Well girlie take a couple of weeks in the middel of winter a go see bro :) just a get aways help. Our summers are hell love to go up to Michigan but couldn't this year :)

Actually, the last time I was there was in March 08. The thing with Florida is that you don't always get the hot weather in the winter. It can be a bit of a crap shoot. Now, the Carribbean? Oh yeah.

I've lived in Florida I never seen snow though :)

Believe me, you're not missing anything. Getting up and wearing everything you own, just to try and stay warm. Driving in a snowstorm and trying not to get dead. Holing up inside your house for days on end. And did I mention the heating bills? 30C below for a couple of weeks at a time. It's just gets harder every year to put up with it. Maybe I should take up skiing or some sort of thing. I'd much rather be in the hot sun.

Sorry, don't mean to whine. I keep sucking it up every year and fantasizing about a life where I can visit snow if I want to.

Wake up sleepy heads me and Vi have had our coffee and about ready to hit the road :)
