You're on mingle and you are single and looking.
Do you search the members or do you try the mutual match or what? Do you randomly email or nudge people? here is what I do. I only nudge or email who shows a slight interest in me. Someone who either nudges me, emails me, looks at my profile or somewhere in a thread says something to me, that sounds like she is interested. I don't search I dont' do mutual match and I don't pick anyone randomly. I don't even nudge or email those who look attractive, unless they show a slight interest in me first. This might make me look like I don't initiate, but through the many months I mutual matched and randomly emailed people I liked and 99% of the time I didn't get any response back. So I find that as a waste of time, instead i'm just gonna wait until someone sends me a signal first. |

I don't even worry about it..they find me.
I nudge my friends and send hugs to them....

So I don't initiate convos or anything else for that matter anymore. If a party is interested in speaking to me, then said party will have to make the first move. |

I play with the mutual match now and then, but I find more interesting people via the forums.

that's fine as it is, but see, you're a woman and that's normal. I'm a guy and yet I still don't initiate unless I see someone showing interest. The people on stealth mode are automatically excluded because they don't show up on the list who viewed me, that's their loss. |

i just look at their pofiles,they see me and they wanna contact me, great,but if not, wont bother me, life goes on(plus i have never sent an email out...ever and never will be the one to make the first move)

hhmmm it is a tough dating world out there...I think just depends on what you are looking for and how you go about it...I usually have no problem about sending dircectly a bunch of invitations to ladies that are close by. Like maybe a activity that you would like to go and do...Go to a rock concert and a quick dinner and chat...ect..If you catch her eye she will respond. I got a date a while back ago from this site this way so I know it works. Also, I would think that if you a self confident enough, you should not be afraid of asking the good lookers as well.
