Here is a joke that illuminates what men and women want...
A store that sells new husbands has just opened in New York City, where a woman may go to choose a husband. Among the instructions at the entrance is a description of how the store operates: You may visit this store ONLY ONCE! There are six floors and the value of the products increase as the shopper ascends the flights. The shopper may choose any item from a particular floor, or may choose to go up to the next floor, but you cannot go back down except to exit the building! So, a woman goes to the Husband Store to find a husband. On the first floor the sign on the door reads: Floor 1 - These men Have Jobs. She is intrigued, but continues to the second floor, where the sign reads: Floor 2 - These men Have Jobs and Love Kids. "That's nice", she thinks, "but I want more." So she continues upward. The third floor sign reads: Floor 3 - These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, and are Extremely Good Looking. "Wow," she thinks, but feels compelled to keep going. She goes to the fourth floor and the sign reads: Floor 4 - These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, are Drop-dead Good Looking and Help With Housework. "Oh, mercy me!" she exclaims, "I can hardly stand it!" Still, she goes to the fifth floor and the sign reads: Floor 5 - These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, are Drop-dead Gorgeous, Help with Housework, and Have a Strong Romantic Streak. She is so tempted to stay, but she goes to the sixth floor, where the sign reads: Floor 6 - You are visitor 31,456,012 to this floor. There are no men on this floor This floor exists solely as proof that women are impossible to please. Thank you for shopping at the Husband Store. PLEASE NOTE: To avoid gender bias charges, the store's owner opened a New Wives store just across the street. The first floor has wives that love sex. The second floor has wives that love sex and have money. The third, fourth, fifth and sixth floors have never been visited |

I have a question. What do men really want from us woman? and don't say sex.I know that besides that. The things I want are too old fashioned and dont really exist anymore, so I refrain from saying what I want......waste of time |

oops. I'm just looking for someone who won't treat me like I'm a tool to be used for their own benefit. |

This is what I always wanted:
Someone I could spend time with, enjoy being with, regardless of what we were doing. Because when you're with the right person, does it really matter what you're doing? Someone I could talk to, someone who could talk to me, about anything, any time. Someone I could talk to on my own level, not having to stop and explain or define every third word I use (this was a big problem in my marriage). Someone who would accept me as I am, with no desire to change me into a domestic farm animal or a sitcom dad. I can't live like that. Someone who would understand that my writing is important to me, someone who would support that and promote it and not try to derail it, and who would allow me to support her in her own creative endeavors. Someone who would be there for me when the need arose, and who would let me be there for her as well. Someone who could be herself -- not for me but because that's who she is. Someone who wants to be loved and cherished, knowing that there's a reciprocity involved.... I'm convinced there is no one like that. |

Lex ~ while I respect and appreciate your opinion, I have to disagree.
There ARE women out there who meet your criteria...and who want the same things. (Sorry, Silly ~ had to weigh in!) |

There may be -- but all I've ever run across are those who SAY they want those things but then change their minds once they're comfortably ensconced in the relationship..... |
