Cunningham was classic
Favre played the way backyard football was meant too be played. And he still won't go away
but yea young was probably the best at that type
Ken stabler was also pretty good at that type

John elway, Warren moon, Randall cunningham all very good.

As far as ken stabler, tough qb, gutzy, same with farve, I looked at stabler stats he only had 93yds, 3 rushing tds in his career

allow me to give you my top 5(a qb that hurts defenses with his arm just as much with his legs)

the 1 & 2 to me was the closest and yet not hard to pick, difference being more efficent passer and ran the ball throughout his career

1) Steve Young(career ended in his prime, he was still running at 36)
2) Randall Cunningham(great runner, good passer didnt rush nearly as much the 2nd half of his carrer )
3) Steve Mcnair(I believe he was the toughest qb ever)
4) John Elway( horseteeth smile, whatever it takes to win )
5) Michael Vick(greatest runner of all time at qb,average passer )

Future prediction:

Top 2: Terrelle Pryor 6ft6 235lbs , Tim Tebow 6ft3 245lbs/ if you did not watch college football you probably would think I was talking about Linebackers

tried to edit it, maybe too much time passed. Well I was off on the career yards per carry, turns out nfl.com hall of fame stats has him down for 5.9yds per carry not the 4.2yds per carry I got from a less reliable source my mistake------ GO NINERSrant GO GATORS:thumbsup:

Nobody mentioned Fran Tarkenton or Roger Staubach.. .

point taken, fran tarkenton was a nightmare for defenses throwing for 47,003yds and 342tds. The legend also rushed for 3,674yds with 32tds. Widely viewed by many as the greatest scrambler of his time.
--------------------------------------------------------------------

roger staubach on the other hand was a great leader. Although he only played 10yrs playing signifacant time in only 9 of those 10yrs he had an incredible starting qb record, going 85-29 in games he started. He rushed for 2,264yds with 20tds and passed for 22,700yds and 153tds.

Great point waterloosunset, both easily top 10. Fran tarkenton many could argue is top 5 or even a top 3 dual threat qb of all time:thumbsup:
