Nope, no traffic, I had an appointment with a new oncologist this morning (had to kick the old one to the curb). I like her, though. And it seems there's good news in research. I have a mutated chromosome, which is what causes the kind of leukemia that I have. It seems there's a drug in trial now that actually corrects the translocation of the chromosome. In other words, there's possibly a cure in sight It's probably at least 10 years down the road, but still

I had an interesting morning... I ran into a gas station where my ex-mother in-law works. I saw her car so I knew she was there, but I didn't expect to run into my ex-father in-law... Last I knew he hated me, but he gave me a great big hug and told me he misses me! They also invited me out to their house for dinner sometime! I told them I appreciated the offer, but that I'm afraid their son will show up unannounced, and that I don't want any problems. They said they understood, but would still like to see me sometime!
