Topic: women who dont respond? | |
---|---|
Do most women not respond to emails guys send them? Very rude I think I CAN RELATE... A certain female mingler and myself really seemed to click, at least for a while. We discussed relationship issues...divorce, cheating, how the roles of men and women have seemed to change, child-rearing, etc., etc., etc. We seemed to agree on most everything. I was really uplifted that we seemed to connect on so many issues... ...and then... ...nothing. She has a demanding job, but not near demanding enough to prevent her from just typing, "Hello...very busy...will get back to you very soon." This was the gist of her last email, but that was quite a while ago. THE DOWNSIDE OF HONESTY... She had seemed way too mature to have been playing any kind of game. I had been honest in my last email to her (as we always had been...), bringing up some controversial issues. However... ...IF SHE'S LOOKING FOR AN "HONEST" MAN, THEN OBVIOUSLY THERE IS A DOWNSIDE TO THAT WHICH SHE SHOULD BE WILLING TO ACCEPT. As I should be ready in accepting her own opinions...to be ready to "agree to disagree". Who knows? LESSONS LEARNED... 1) One really shouldn't take this "mingle2" thing too seriously... 2) Though I prefer communicating by typing (so there are few interruptions...), serious misunderstandings MAY RESULT, regardless. 3) Some people (men and women both) simply "wear their heart on their sleeve", and are dramtically easy to offend. What do you do after you've been dumped in a very cruel way by a significant other? You turn to sites like www.mingle2.com, of course! And you've got your "mad" on... 4) She may be married, and had been caught emailing you... 5) She could have met some untimely end...(sorry, but this could be true...) 6) Her long-lost lover might have made an unexpected return 7) She decided that she is, indeed, a lesbian. My point is... FORGET HER! Heck, if you've been left wondering, as I was, FORGET HER! Don't put all your eggs in one basket. Hanging your hopes on just one mingler is very unwise. This is a gradual, seductive, psychological change which will reveal itself only too late for you, every time. A mature man or woman should be quick to bring any supposed offense to your attention, so you may explain yourself and apologize. But not everyone can be expected to be mature. Just don't waffle on your beliefs to appease her. She may be impressed enough with THAT to continue communicating with you. |

I used to have a creative flair for writing poetry but you have to use it or lose it. Emails from guys: 97% of the emails I get are from guys under 23 years old. Now, I love kids as much as the next person but really! Also, I judge a man by their willingness and effort put into an email. Something more than "UR sexy. Can we be friends?" |

You know (and if I get banned for this, please remember, it was said only for the well-being of my fellow minglers...), could it be that once so many emails have been recorded on the server, any further emails are intentionally DELETED before received so one might click on any of these SILLY-A**ED dating, screw**g sites, in the deepest, darkest depths of our despair?
I am CERTAIN all those babes in the marquee which travels across my laptop screen DO NOT reside in my hometown! Can you say, "FALSE ADVERTISING"? NOTHING IS "FREE" Are we victims of a diabolical, psychological ploy which plays quite insidiously upon our need for a significant other? IF I DISAPPEAR, FELLOW MINGLERS, THEN THIS IS PROOF POSITIVE I'VE EXPOSED THE CONSPIRACY! ...then simply tell all your friends. AM I TO BE YOUR MARTYR, FELLOW MINGLERS? IF SO, THEN SO BE IT! (Of course, I don't REALLY BELIEVE THIS... ...I take it back. ....please don't ban me... |

I always respond.. Unless I am off the site long enough that they end up deleted before I can read and reply. lol (emails are deleted after a certain length of time, 30 days I think) That's happened to me a couple of times.

Ya know sometimes they don't get the e-mails
Or they just don't have any interest and will not respond Or you just scare the hell outta them and they prefer to Stay away ... i appreciate when they reply And when they don't it doesn't bother me I guess they have a reason |

I delete emails that only say "wanna chat?" or "you're hot", etc. I used to respond, but it gets old.

Do most women not respond to emails guys send them? Very rude I think I have responded to every email since day 1.. unless it was down right obscene... at which point I feel I do not owe anything to someone who would show me such disrespect. But that's ME... MY choice. Many of my friends have a different philosophy about responding. It's free will. Just cause you write to someone does not mean they owe you... so don't take it personally. |

It's pretty much the same as viewing someones profile. Just because you looked at them, doesn't mean they gotta look at you. I always do because I like reading peoples headlines.
Maybe your e-mails are boring or rude. If you say something humorous you generally get something back, might not be what you were looking for though. |

Why would anyone assume that just because you sent them an email, the person receiving is obligated to respond?

There should be a thread about men who don't respond either. But there isn't one. Do you know why? Because we suck it up and deal. And then we move on to stalk more prey....
