Topic: Well i said gas was comming down | |
---|---|
I said that gas would come down when our Pres. got what he wanted. Gas
has been high even though the price of a barrel was not near record prices yet at least where i live we hit record prices at the pump. I was asked what made me an expert when i made this prediction/comment. nothing common sence. I was/am not a consperious theriost. Because I would have to have a theory. Our govt. is who gives us theories and says them long enough we start to believe them as fact. No i try to use common sence. Hard to believe I know. But Bush knows he is getting what he wants and congress has made a good enough show(they think at least) to it's districts. That they can be re-elected. Everything is calculated for our benifit. At least for a good showing. We will see many things like this happen I expect between now and our next election. The repulicans know they are going to have problems at the polls. So now even though it is time for memorial day. When historically gas goes up they are trying to show a little relief (IMO). But I believe we will see gas go back down to where it was last December before to long. Miles |

yes gas prices stink. but just do a search for gas price analysis
between last few years and you will see that thier is no reason for our gas prices to be so high. I wrote on here (i forgot where) and posted the washington posts/rueters that nov 25th 2006 that it was reported that saudi's king threatened cheney that if we could not protect the sunni's (which they claim as part of them0 then they would. What would they do. push us out of Iraq, cut gas prises in half to cripple irans ability to fight them, and go in and clean house putting the saudi govt. in control of Iraq. Now to me this sounded pretty good. Well our news media found this report we should not be told and the washington post pulled the article and rueters i do not know may still have it in a search engine. The kings pressman he was fired when usually he would have his head cut off for lying about the king. Cheney came back and about 2 weeks later Bush said we needed 20 to 30 thousand more troops. ( i do not think we want saudi to take over) then if you will look gas prices started going up for no real reason. Then in Jan.2007 the ambassador to the USA from saudi resigned for personal reasons.(he was the kings pressmans boss) Who was this ambassador? He had been the chief intelligent officer for the king for 25 years. the if you remember all of a sudden the pres. of Iran wanted to make peace with saudi arabia. I wonder why/ saudi has the 6th strongest military in the world. in the region the only country caple of even putting up a fight with them is israel and i do not think Israel would get to upset. So we have seen a conservative effort by many to please the american public that our congress really did not want to send troops. (they want re-elected you know) so they blame bushes veto. bush in the mean time (IMO) will say in a press conference that since the insergents have seen the American resolve that the country is already starting to destableize. kinda like dec,jan was the deadliest months for our troops. made a good example why we need 20 to 30 thousand troops. like special forces look alikes going in and killing in a high security zone. we have about forgot we have just kinda dropped that and has it happened since? So bush has in the peoples eyes got what he wanted and congress put up a good fight. Like i said gas can come back to dec levels now to show us even more how great our countries leader is and the press will be right on the bandwagon. What should we do? next election show them we are smarter than what they think. vote EVERYONE in congress out and start with new people. We can send a message too. The congress lifers are the ones who after a few years get corrupted. The freshman at 1st really want to make a difference. So LET THE FRESHMAN PREVAIL. Miles |

just what happened to the big oil found in Mexico? if we are americans
are about to allow more "undocumented citizens" as they like being called HERE in my little town...rolling my eyes...then by GOD where is that OIL???? Please note that every major holiday and of course right HERE summer break from the schools has just begun. I watched gas soar 39 cents overnight thanks to the summer break. WHO IS CHEATING WHO?? The gas stations play as big a part in arse raping us as the govt any day of the week. |

Miles, it seems from the post on "what is your gas price" that this
influx is not limited to the US. Why would so many other countries be experiencing the same climbing gas prices? |
|
|
|
the problem is refineries...we dont have enough..they have different
grades of gas for different states...and they have to shut down and reset to mix all these different grades... a joke...and we will keep paying |

Yes Divinchi we have been told that they are doing maintance that was
skipped because of Katrina. I will still stand that starting in the immediate future gas will go down to dec levels when we were 1st told that more troops were needed. I believe you will even see a pricebreak for this memorial weekend. We will see. As for other countries they follow our lead. leaders want the pres. blessings. They know what can happen. Take Care Miles |

Gas prices are driven by the market. More countrys are becoming
idustrialized, so the prices of petroleum are going up world wide. The US always has fluxuations during the spring and fall, it happens every year, twice a year. The prices will start to drop again in a month or so. The president doesn't have the power to control gas prices, most of the world's oil producers don't like the US to begin with. The only thing the US can do is tap our oil under the Gulf Coast, California Coast and Alaska. That and continue funding for alternative energy sources. Or scrap oil altogether as the source and build refineries that turn coal into oil. The US already has the largest supply of coal in the world, we could produce almost all the oil we need and at the same time, give the finger to OPEC and their buddies. |

yes spider you are right we do have more oil here than we need. My
point is Saudi Arabia controls the world oil market being the largest supplier. When cheney met with the king after that meeting our pres. came out and said we needed more troops. now he is getting them and I believe everyone in congress really new that he would. Saudi at the mean time set the stage for oil to start on a rise. you scratch my back and i will scratch yours. behind the scenes none of us really knows whats going on. But if we pay attention to how the flow of things happen we can in turn give an educate guess as to what/when things are going to happen down the road. I posted that when Pres. bush got what he wanted gas would start it's way down. I looked at what was going on before when it started it's raise and concluded then the oppisite will happen when the Elite are happy. not rocket science but observations. miles |
