I sold a short essay a few months ago, first one for me. I have been referring to myself (in certain circles - like my family LOL) as a writer for years - getting that check allows me to feel a bit more confident about the reference. The piece hasn't been published yet! What the heck are they waiting for!!!
I am also working on a manuscript that I have been told "speaks with a unique voice and shows great promise"....we'll see about that! |
