Your profile pic reminded me of what a friend said to me the day MJ died. She said, "Michael Jackson died a long time ago." I think that's really true.

They are burying him on his birthday. I don't think a body can wait that long! 
The news said that his mom changed the date because they are Jehovah Witness and don't celebrate birthdays. Now they don't have a date for the burial. I didn't think it could wait that long either. I had always heard they were Mormon, didn't know this. Also hadn't heard they had changed the date again. I heard they had a special casket ordered, that was part of the delay, waiting for the casket and that they were burying him on his birthday at the end of the month. No idea that things had changed. So sad for his children.

Marie, It's the Osmond family that is Mormon. The Jacksons are Jehovah Witness. Yes, it is so sad for the children.

What does Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, and John Lennon have in common? They are famous decomposers! Say in a few thousand years when they dig up his grave how much plastic do you think they will find??? Oh man! Speaking of that...Mitch & I were on the phone & he asked if I had heard the story about MJ's prosthetic nose being stolen??? WTF? I didn't even know he HAD a prosthetic nose! Can anyone clear this up for me? I was getting a lil creeped out...which led to some pretty tasteless nose jokes...& I just hope I don't dream about it...

MJ had a very complex life : from his kids to the accusations against him.....etc. Now he is in peace for sure . Love him or hate him : he was not a role model for humanity .

Coroner's office had to wait for his brain to solidify for final toxicology tests. They told the family they could wait, or bury him without it. BUT the Coroner's office completed was finished with it a while back, so I don't know what they are waiting for.
