For myself I've gone to online datin because I live in a small one horse town where the men are either married, drug addicts, or felons. There are no decent men left in this lil hovel of a town so I've had to expand my horizons to the internet.

do u believe in love at first sight? if so, does it exist in the online world?
No. I believe that that is often confused with lust or basic chemistry. I also believe that this is the built-in feeling that we are born with to attract us to one another. Love is having that chemistry along with common ground- interests and so forth, and then building trust and all that should be in a solid relationship over time-and then taking it to a higher level. JMO (Just my opinion). Love is knowing a person well and still liking them ( and liking them more over time), along with that feeling of never wanting to be away from them (much). |

The Op obviously hasn't taken the time to get to know some of the people here. I've made many friends who don't nowhere near fall into either catagories.
