I don't know if Lafayette can be "turned" into a vampire now....Mary Ann got a hold of him and made him one of her creatures (Jason Stackhouse is a real "HOTTIE") Her's is just psychological control, there's nothing physical about it. Plus, he's already got Eric's blood. So yup, he could be turned I will say, Jason has become quite surprising this season. There's much more than meets the eye, I think. Well, yeah Lafayette does have Eric's blood Which kinda makes me wonder why does anyone have to be "bitten" to become a vampire if they've already drank the blood of a vampire for healing or whatever? Besides, Sookie was bitten by her man during love-making....but yet she's not a vampire |

Besides, Sookie was bitten by her man during love-making....but yet she's not a vampire According to the books (and vampire lore), there has to be a simultaneous exchange of blood, to the point of death for a human. However, in this book series, the more a human drinks of vampire blood (in any amount), the closer the connection between vampire and human becomes. So, simply drinking Eric's or Bill's blood wouldn't turn Sookie. One or both would have to drain her first, then give their blood. |

WHOA..that's DEEP....Guess the books are better then ...NEEDS TO BUY THEM NOW! I find this series very fascinating...I was born in Louisiana I know it's fiction...but ummmmmmmm....Vampires and Humans living in harmony in the same communities in the deep south....that's an awesome concept and great imagination! Too bad there is only one "shape-shifter" left....(Sam) I think he needs more like him to get some HELP from being HUNTED down and sacrificed by Mary Ann |

It's hard to compare them. But I loved the books |

for as hot as Eggs is, I'd rather have Lafayette survive then him. Eggs makes Tara too boring. Maybe I've just been lured in by the eye makeup though. Lafayette does have gorgeous eyes.

what you think Tara's mom will be killed trying to save Tara? Possibly. Doesn't matter, I don't like her very much anyway. I'm nervous Jason will die trying to save Sookie and play town hero. He's such a cutie

ohh more shifters will be coming. just wait. and I can't wait to see one particular shifter in particular. wow, he was too yummy in the books, and I have the clearest picture of him in my head. It'll be hard to find him though. but I can't wait *rubbing hands together*

I think also that the teenage girl vampire that Bill had to make to replace the one he killed...may be one of the next to die as well...her roll in the series isn't that great BESIDES that....Bill is searching for a way that may kill Mary Ann Anyone thinks that she will die eventually?...her role in the series is important, very bold, explicit and yet exciting |

Soon me hopes quinn is one of two yummy shifters that show up...he just happens to be my favorite, lol. heck, i don't even think maryann had a name in the book...she was just the maenad. in the show, jessica comes about because bill killed longshadow to save sookie. in the books, eric killed longshadow, not bill...and he only paid a fine. |

WOW!...big difference than what's seen on TV I like the concept of the book version much better! I thought Sookie was just a "mind-reader"...but obviously she posesses some other sort of power..especially when she touched Mary Ann's face to push it away, a bright light flashed in her hand Mary Ann seemed to like the "feeling" the light gave her...what a "freak" she is |

i think the Weres show up in the second book. It's been awhile since I read the books. I wonder who will play the part of Alcide?

i think the Weres show up in the second book. It's been awhile since I read the books. I wonder who will play the part of Alcide? The Weres did show up in the 2nd book, but Alcide didn't come until the 3rd and Quinn was the 4th or 5th, I think. The explanation of what Sookie is, aside from a telepath, doesn't come until the 8th book (or maybe the 7th?). But the series is kind of combining different elements from different books, and creating a whole lot of new stuff. So who knows in the series when or if they are going to bring in the Weres. |

"Weres"?.....as in WOLVES?
