Yes, I have him enrolled in school, got his physical yesterday and he had football tryouts last night. Looks like he will be happy to have a place called "home". It is going to be a strain on us (finacially and emotionally at times), but I just want him to know he has a home and family around him
And I am glad to see you, you have been missed very much

you know Merle.....its the BEST place for him!!!!!! You are gonna be giving him "stability", "love", "security".....and he needs that!!!!! You are doing a wonderful thing!!!!
Id do the same in your situation!!!!!!! Even tho you never planned on having to do it...you KNOW you wouldnt want him to go anywhere else, BUT WITH YOU!!!! What grade is he in?????

Yes, he does belong here with us, he does have the stability and love he needs. He smiles alot now, something he hasn't done in a long time.
He is going to be a "tweener" (10th and 11th grade) until they can get his credits from the school he attended in West VA. No telling how long that will take 
|

 He came inside yesterday and called me "Merle", I thought my mom and Tom would piss themselves laughing. I jusy hope financially this doesn't put a hurting on us  . School and activities are expensive  . But I am not going to let him know that

It is, but I think we will be okay. I will just to have to start watching my pennies

Yes it has, we bought him 5 pairs of jeans, 4 shirts, 2 pais of shoes and 2 hoodies and it was over $200.00 (thank god for sales), glad my mom could help us with that. I can only imagine how much it would have been if we hadn't got everything on sale
