Topic: Man With Assault Weapon near Obama | |
---|---|
Its the person behind the gun.....I prefer the old west way of things. Innocents get killed all around the world everyday, if it wasn't a gun it would be a knife, club, rope or something else. Guns are not the problem. People are the problem. I don't buy the guns are not the problem argument anymore. If there were no guns, no crazy person would have one to use. You have a far better chance of defending yourself against a knife, a club a rope. Dont buy the whole if there were no guns Realistically we all know there are guns.It is legal to bear arms. People can kill, maim, hurt others with guns, pens, paperclips, words, anything can and is used as a weapon. Hmmm, how many people could I mow down with a rock, or a pen or a paperclip compared to a gun in a crowd. If there was no such thing as a gun, I can't see how too many people could be harmed, unless everyone had a crude weapon. That's all I meant by guns are a problem along with some of the people that carry them. Ok missy, put up your dukes! I'm pms, packing a bad attitude and a paperclip. You feeling lucky today? I am so sure I would be a dangerous threat in a crowd.. LMAO Boo You may be a dangerous threat in the crowd, I say keep all rocks, pens and paperclips out of your reach . All I want to do is defend and protect what's mine. Think I can call the President mine huh? Then maybe I can protect him too Boo, put down the paperclip, step away from the paperclip (you rock) |

That's all I meant by guns are a problem along with some of the people that carry them. Ninjas are pretty bad azz with a pen. A lot of writers are pretty good using their closely guarded Bill of Rights protections to distort events for scaremongering and hype to get attention by sensationalization. The pen can do a lot of damage. Obama was never in any real danger from the citizens carrying guns outside the building at this event. We are all in constant danger of believing distorted information provided by the media. |

Its the person behind the gun.....I prefer the old west way of things. Innocents get killed all around the world everyday, if it wasn't a gun it would be a knife, club, rope or something else. Guns are not the problem. People are the problem. Of course, it's the people that are the problem. That's why people with guns shouldn't be near a President. The President chose to be there and knew of the circumstances surrounding it and the State laws. |

The guy is a wacko....also member of RP4409. They want Revolution and blood in the streets. Anarchists.
Gun toter at Obama rally says he didn't seek spotlight Aug. 21, 2009 01:20 PM The Arizona Republic The man who brought an assault rifle to President Barack Obama's rally on Monday in a staged media event that drew national attention is a Phoenix resident with ties to several anti-government or nativist groups. The man, who until now has only been identified as "Chris B." is actually 28-year-old Christopher Broughton, a former employee of a Tempe plastic mold manufacturer who says he wasn't seeking a personal spotlight by arming himself and strolling through crowds of Obama supporters. "I want attention brought to the ideas that I espouse," Broughton told The Arizona Republic, which confirmed his identity through relatives and former coworkers on Friday. "I don't think the political process works any more. It is done . . . This government is the most corrupt Mafioso on the face of the earth." |

Somebody told me this today: If it had been a white President, nobody would have brought any guns. More respect would have been shown.

Somebody told me this today: If it had been a white President, nobody would have brought any guns. More respect would have been shown. Winx not you playing the race card A friend of mine, that is black, told me that today. She said that a white president would have been shown more respect. I had never thought about it that way. |
