I wonder if anyone is interested in a regional "meet and greet" type of event. Perhaps in different areas of the country. Being from the Northeast, maybe having a group get together in this area and meet, say in NH or MA. Is this done in other areas of the country?

I would love to.. but .. I have my son 24/7.... so no for me but thank you for the nice idea...

Seems easier sometimes to meet people in a group, especially if you are a woman.

Mingle/JSH has been putting together meetings a lot like this for awhile, it isn't impossible. Although from what I hear of the other meets...men don't really show up, which could be good if I were to go to one. If you posted a thread in General or Off-topic I'm sure you would probably get more posts, there is one scheduled for 2010 (Mingle Cruise).

Mingle/JSH has been putting together meetings a lot like this for awhile, it isn't impossible.
