People are funny. We each think we are the center of the universe.Each nation acts like it’s the center of the universe. As a planet,we act like we are the center of the universe. But each of us is just a speck of dust in time and space. Why do we assume the person butting in line is cutting us off? He is doing nothing to us, we just happen to be in his way. Why do we assume
that the government is taking our tax money? The government is not doing anything to us, just trying to raise the money to pay for all the things we expect it to do. It is easy to personalize everything, as if the world has set up a secret conspiracy to drive us crazy. When that is how it seems, it might help to mentally climb out of your body and just observe what is happening from a third-person position. You might just notice that the world isn't out to get you, after all. You mean what you do, so why not try to do what you mean?

Maybe it is overly simplistic, but I tend to think there are 2 kinds of people: sheep and wolves.

Sheep take what they are given, wolves fight for what they earned.

If I have been waiting in line at the DMV for 90 minutes and someone walks in and cuts in front of me, I am going to say something. Sorry, fair is fair and they have no right to do that. Alternately, if I am at the supermarket and someone behind me has 1 item I will offer to let them go ahead of me; I am not inconsiderate.

As far as taxes go, that is a little more complicated because it is a bigger picture but it is still the same idea. As a society, we have given up our right to initiating physical force/compulsion in order to work together better. We have relinquished that power to the government so that they may use it on our behalf. That is why law enforcement agencies are allowed to break into a criminal's house and take him to jail (under a strict set of guidelines), but vigilantes are not.

When the government uses force (imprisonment is a use of force and you WILL go to jail for tax evasion) to take what I have worked for to do things that I believe are wrong, then I get angry.

Sorry, I don't see anything wrong with getting angry when I see an injustice. For you to suggest that I am too insignificant ("each of us is just a speck of dust in time and space") to matter and I should just be silent and sit down doesn't make sense to me.

well you are right .but I can say that there was this one witch that cut me off in the parking lot just to get my space saw me waiting for the person to pull out mY signal was on ,she can up from the other side way after me..ANd it was a handicap space!! because of my back,I got a special tag,I don't always use it but if I'm having a bad day I will,because I can walk & get around..So yesterday..was one of those days..but NOOO she day to whip in there because when the other car pulled out she could.. but served her right..she couldn't stay..no handicap tag or anythig..HAHA..got the last laugh..and if she didnt leave ..Thoguth I might make a call or something..I had already had a bad week..so maybe the universe don't relvove around me..but those who come in contact with me..well I'm a good person..and I was just tired of the world peeing on me for the past week .So well if I had to take it out starting with her so be it,I'm tired of letting everybaody walk all over me & do nothing about it.. I have to start standing up for myself..somewhere sometime..
