Any advice on this?
I detected 2 trojan downloaders on my comp with AVG and the program states that they are removed but everytime I restart my comp and rescan they are back.

Turn off system restore on all drives, then scan again manually and reboot...

none of those will help if system restore has the virus in a restore point, but they are also good.

Go for that one, after turning of system restore.

I use Malwarebyte's Antimalware. It's the best.

If you disable the system restore. Boot up in safe mode and then run Spybot or Trendmicro it usually works.

Ditto for MalWareBytes. I've used most of them and a lot of them might work--disable system restore as suggested, though MWareBytes is not an anti virus program per se, it's the best new one I've used. AVAST is also a good free AV program.

i had avg for a long time

but avast seems to do a better job

so i use them both

if you can not get rid of it

down load the free avast and run it

it has removed things for me avg did not

but avg has removed things avast did not

so i bounce back and forth and use them both regularly

you can also go to house call and do a free scan

it has removed things both avg and avast missed

Some viruses create a back up exe file. Usually it looks like this:

Aeoijad.exe - some weird file name. And it can be either in System32 file, your temporary internet files (which would actually make sense why your trojan downloader keeps coming back, I had that problem on xp before) And - they can also appear in the system volume restore....where everything is deleted...so its not fully deleted. In order to get rid of that you must find all of it's "helpers" and Try to go directly into system volume and delete it.

Try using an anti virus such as Avira, then anti malware such as Malwarebites anti-malware and make sure you have a good firewall such as Outpost or Online Armor so those trojans can't get through your computer.

Also - watch your browsing habits...LOL
