Honestly I think when we (women) seem to eager they don't want to call us because theres no challenge involved.

Well, I put the number in my ph. but it I did it wrong so when I called the first time I got this guy..........Then I was going to call again but it was too late at nite.......then I remembered I entered it wrong and had to find that little slip of paper......then I tried to call, but the ph was dead, and the battery won't hold a charge for very long, so then I was going to call to ask you out this wk-end and it was already Thurs. and I know how some gals are "If he doesn't call by Weds. no date for the wk-end." kind of thing, and then I was going to call again.........................
But 4 days had passed, so I had broken by own 3 day rule............

ha ha!!! Bingo! Most women do the same thing, and why? Cuz we are really not that interested. Same goes for men, he is just not that into you..and what if they do all of the sudden call?? Well then they were just horny, and option 1,2,3, and 4 were busy.

Many people say they will "call you later" because they cant handle the awkwardness of just be truthful. One thing I have learned is you cant have high expectations when you start dating someone. Within a few dates you should somewhat be able to read how much a guy is into you. If he doesnt call you he's not that into you.

I gave my number out to this guy a long time ago. He said he would call me. Instead, I called him. But when he picked up, he had an excuse to where he couldn't talk at the moment. So he told me he'll call me back. Never did. I later found out he does that to a lot of girls. Mess with their heads and stuff. Such childish acts coming from a so-called adult.

I am a guy, very much so, yet I feel unqualified to answer this.

I used to call, when I promised I'd call, at the time back then that I would still get phone numbers.

This habit of mine was due to the fact that

1. I was always really hot to trot and therefore my goal was to establish intimate physical contact, my goal was not to play power games and build collections of telephone numbers, and that
2. I only approached those women for their number in whom I was interested, and that
3. I could always concentrate on one woman at a time. Some people have feelers out and they go with the one that gives in first in chronological terms. I would wait for a rejection, overt or covert, before I'd approach a different woman.

I realize that I was hurting my chances more than build them when I always called when I had said I would. It put me in the light of a "desperate" man, one who "can't even find a better woman than me".

You gotta wrap your head sometimes around several lampposts and make it stretch until it snaps in order to understand the opposing sex.
