Some one put me out of my misery ...
this is the worst pain I've ever experienced ... My first tooth experience! all cause a filling fell out a year ago ... It F******* hurts! These painkillers better kick in soon before I jump off a bridge! %&$&%#%$^&!!&*(%(&(&( cvnhirwhgrwuoghiebnvhdsil AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! |

Go to your nearest pharmacy and get some dental gum. You break a piece off and put it in your filling. Trust me... it helps. It won't take it away completely but it does take the edge off.

The dentist is supposed to give you pain killers. |

you need to get into a dentist ASAP. You might have an infection and need antibiotics

if you go to the pharmacy they have this pain killer..not sure of the name but near the ambesol ect...it has a red cross on it...works like a miracle...relieves the pain for hours at a time...has alot of benzocaine in it which will numb it..costs about 6-7 bucks...

If you have asprin you could put a bit into the hole, it will help for awhile.

Some foods annoy it more than others ... and well chicken is apparently a food that it does not like. So I cleaned it, took meds and I'm not screaming anymore. |

Only lasts about 15 minutes or so and then you got to do it again... Or just when the pain returns. |

ABESOL helps. Rinse with warm salt water. If you have and antibiotic the pain is from infection. Ice will reduce the swelling.
I would not recommend alcohol. You are already stressing your heart, stomache, kidneys pumping infection through your system without adding alcohol that will dehydrate you and maybe make you vomit bringing more infection into the mouth. Avoid useing a straw as it will amplify the pain. |
