I went on a date with this guy, hes in the Army Guard. He had to wear his camo because orders from his unit, had to wear it till 10. But anyway, 4 different people came up to him and thanked him.

I find it funny that people do this now, but after Nom people threw rotten fruit at the solders. Because they thought it was their fault or something like that. Its weird how things change, an how truly mean people can be. I mean even if it was their fault they risked their life to make sure we still had our freedom.

masses are always mean n seldom right. thats why we have a heirarchical system of administration, with a 'leader' at top.

regardless of everything, an individual who is a part of a system, like armed guards, is likely to be sane and progressive.

The date went very well! The weird part.. I was not scared at all, we both were very comfortable around each other.

why is the weird part scared to be with someone in the military... you should be proud not scared

I was very proud. But I tend to get nervous very easily, just found it weird he was so easy to talk to.

When I was in the military in the mid 70's through the 80's, we were often told
not to wear our uniforms off the base. Some girls may like a man in uniform,
but back then, none of them seemed to live in the US. I have talked to a few
old shipmates from back then and some are a bit bitter. They want to know
where their parade is...

well some people in the military believe that some wars are stupid,they just can't say anything or they'll lose their freedom....most in the military who are in war actually realize they aren't fighting for this countrys freedom but protecting their own on the battlefield...which it's true if you think about it really
