the look in your eyes, has made me aware.

aware of a feeling, I share most every day...
feeling that somewhere,somehow...I must've lost my way.

are you as tired as I am...of dreams now long grown cold...
what the hell...and how the hell...did I end up this old.

lonely...sometimes bitter, wonder why its come to this...
learned alot, perhaps too much, maybe ignorance was bliss.

if that's the case, with this human race...that it's better not to know...
then why the hell am I still here...if not to learn and grow.

so teach me please...and at your ease...I'll hang on every word...
my wish is that, you won't think of me, as crazy or absurd.

I want to know what love is...not all that love is not...
I want to love with all my being, with everything I've got.

and be loved...oh, to be loved...and be "in love" once again...
share my life, with that special someone, I'd be happy then.
