I've been devoured
Fed a hunger stronger then lust
Pulled into a storm of starvation
Nectar created within my truth
Provided all nutrition to the soul of another


I've been consumed
Each morsel eaten up by eyes
That shined like stars
Brightening as they inhaled
An aroma of inner beauty
Emitting from the pores
Of a thin porcelain exterior

I've been laid down
Under a tree in autumn
Leaves, colorful security blankets
Dropped upon me one-by-one
Warmed me with words of devotion
Uttered from the strength of oak
The source that shed them
