It's your ex. If you don't have any more ties to her what so ever, it's open season for you. Hmmm...I would NEVER hit on my best friend's ex...tres creepy, IMO! That was just my general take on the situation. I personally wouldn't do it either

my ex's bff was hitting on me last night??? ok, that's new one on me... WTF?? Everytime I see 'bff' it makes me want to kick babies...then it makes me think about burning down Disney studios...while kicking babies. Just say best friend, forever doesn't exist anyway. On topic; hit on her back.
