Forbidden Memory

The past is but a remnant
Twisted in a life
Abandoned dreams are mounted
Caught within their sea of strife...
Feel the mortal maddness
While a stone heart beats so cold
Falling tears in darkness
Break the seal of stories yet untold.

A rapture of depression stirs
Within a shadow's place,
A lonesome figure looming there
Forbids the light's embrace.
Feel within the madness that mortals only know
In darkness fall the tears
While a heart grows as cold as stone.

The morbid sting of life's injection
Heralds the prideful mourn of loss...
A stagnant mind bewildered
By the paths it once had crossed.

Beholden once to life
Now just a memory fathoms deep
A docile soul forgotten
Within a darkened keep.
Bonds of love are stripped away
That kissed this tainted soul,
Broken are the seals of fate
Which unbind a memory's hold.

Left to thoughts in darkness
Alone a war is waged
Beneath a crimson moon
Where this human once was slain.

Tremendous..

And Glistening Falls

Once a fair young maiden,
Stood beneath her moon.
Awaiting for his shadow,
Fate a lover's doom.

Tears fell glistening, slowly,
Down upon her cheek.
Remembering their last kiss,
How it made her weak.

Her heart made place to carry,
His shield, her mourner's crown.
Once the fair and faded,
To glory both their own.

The moon revisits often,
While she awaits the news.
Standing in a darkness,
Where memory's her muse.
