I can relate to this. I am the "friend" and rarely do I date. When it comes to romance I am the invisible woman. When it comes to being a great friend I am front and center. Just keep being yourself, the right one will come along. i can relate to that.i seem to make a great friend but nothing more

It hasn't happenedin 40 years !!
Maybe when I start to wrinkle and look old!- Then I could live a normal life and no one notices anything!!

I constantly feel this way that i'm ignored. My friends always go out and seem to attract women. I try my hardest and go in with the right mind set but it seems like I can't even get anyone to look in my direction. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has felt this way.... I dont go out in the 'dating scene'. Strange thing though... Seem to be actually working in reverse. I'm attracting more women and having a great time. Some of them have become friends... Some of them I am still gettin to know. very interesting. If you don't go out how are you managing to pull this off? I don't go into the 'dating scene' LOOKING for a date.... Just to have a good time. Turns out lots o' ladies are also looking for a good time. |

I have to agree, some people are so into themselves that they think they stand out in the crowd, but it is just their lack of self worth trying to make them believe they stand out....Sad |

Im in the same place! my bestfriend gets guys left and right when we go out clubbing. I dont see why...when guys approach me and ask me why she's dancing as if she's a slut, LOL.
I've also been told I look intimadating and concieted. So who knows =(. |

I don't think it's insecurity or lack of self worth
As you can see there are so many people here who know exactly what they are worth and they show it! It's beautiful to see! To be proud of who they are I've been raised to believe. I'm beautiful and can do anything! So to everyone who wears their confidence proudly.... I salute you!!!

I am going out Saturday night with a bunch of friends. I am buying a new outfit and will let you know if I get ignored or not

Hummmmmmmm all I can say for those that feel as if they are being ignored put yourself out there more often. Learn to get out by yourself talk to more people. Take that extra step and contact them first.
To those that say they would rather just be part of the crowd then quit bringing attention to yourself.....It's kind of hard to ignore those that always bring attention to themselves and always seem to want to be the attention seeker. JMO....
