I think, like me he might fed up of people making assumptions about a bill only a lawyer could interpret. As for page 16 I didn't see what you saw. And frankly, even when it is explained in plain english people are still out there distorting the message.

I don't like Rush, and frankly people do jump to ficticious conclusions about this healthcare reform.

But, the system is flawed now, and they want to replace it with another flawed system, that MAY cost more money.

I would like to see the system get revamped, but i would like a little practicality applied to the whole thing.

Why does it seem like this current administrations "solve-all" answer is to throw money at it?

Why are people still stupid enough to believe that some things in life can be cost free?

I Think our public educational system has failed us...

It's all broken.

Medicare, Medicade, many state funded welfare healthcare systems, pharmacuetical companies (some that are in bed with the FDA), uncovered people, defensive medicine, etc., are all contributing factors to our delemma.

We may achieve decent healthcare by these means, but we will never achieve good or great healthcare as long as it lives off, or turns into a welfare program.

I have been reading that there are thousands of doctors and nurses etc that want very much to see a single payer system to 'help their patients'. Are they all stupid too? Sad that the word welfare has become a vulgar word. We don't really care about the welfare of the people of our country do we? Much less our world.

You sound so mean, Drivin, what you are saying it that we could never become a great healthcare system with out large sums of money as our motivation. I find that sad...

I think my statement pointed more at this administration using this as an answer rather than myself. It is you, that seems to support a system that throws money at the problem, instead of coming up with an efficient one.

Funny you should bring up "welfare" as a vulgar word. Just because i want to prevent people from having to live off it doesn't mean that i am disgusted by it.
