Dark gray clouds building up
Clashing and smashing together
Pulsating and throbbing
Wind picking up
Blowing new leaves all a tizzy
Picking up dust whirling it about
The scent of rain mingling in the wind
Birds settling in the safety of nests
Small drops start to fall
Creating a mosaic on the sidewalk
Larger and faster drops falling now
Splish splashing against the window pane
Wind driving them harder
Sky opens up and a deluge ensues
No longer drops
Sheets of rain cascade relentlessly upon the ground
Wind whipping trees to and fro
Crack of thunder
Roaring across the valley
Lightening flashing
Brilliant purple and blue
Such a blinding hue
Storm becoming tempered
Rain becoming drops once again
Wind dying down
Trees slightly swaying
The valley washed anew
