I'll admit it; I'm a fan. I know a lot of you will think he's just foul.

And there are a lot of people who used to like him, but don't like his new album: Relapse.

First I put that down to his fans growing up, accepting that I'm the weird one for growing IN to his music, rather than out of it laugh

But did he actually get worse? I personally prefered relapse to most of The Marshal Mathers LP.

Any thoughts?

yes, he`s definatly still got the talent, altho i find tracks like "drug ballard" far superier to most of his new stuff.
he is in a class of his own. jay z is an awesome lyrasist, but eminem has something totaly different from everyone else
i actually like his sick side, and i think he`s using it more now, the new album is a good explanation of what he`s been up to, he`s a good story teller, but like no other.
if you like sick brutall hip hop, you should lissten to necro and ill bill, now thats disturbing ****

hes clever, rarley seemed to talk about anything positive though. Easy to rap about struggling, negatve stuff, I like: beastie boys, nas, ice cube, its crazy as old as they are their still the best at what they do

never thought ice cube was that good, but nas hip hop is dead, is one great album. hangliding over the hood!!!
but you cant beat the wu tang clan, they are and always will be, the kings. (except gravel pit, that was to comercial)

I have always found his lyrics to be more funny than anything else.

I personally think a lot of the stuff he did that caused such an uproar was written with his tongue planted firmly in his cheek.

He was like the Marilyn Manson of Rap music. he did what he did just for shock value.

Relapse is a good album to me because it seems like the writing was done on a much more personal level than a lot of his other stuff.

haveing a mind that can quickly put together a poetic verse about something happening at that split moment,
wich makes sence, and brings a smile to peoples faces, and money to your pocket.

no, theres no talent in that is there.

I like eminem, but now my son is into it, (i didnt turn him on to it)

And hes 10 almost 11.

I love the fact that he sings "just the two of us" to me, but its also scary cos in the song Em, and Hay Hay are discussing how crappy mommy is, and how she should be dead, or whatever.

*sideways smile*

I know he doesnt relate to this part of the lyric, and he likes the Bonnie and Clyde reference, but it still makes me slightly nervous.
