I agree. However, it's up to the guy ( and don't ask me why because I have no freakin idea ) to do the chasing. Whether that means initiating the conversations, or being the one to ask the other out. I'll add my own bit into this. What annoys me is when a woman says she'd like to get to know you, but when you talk to them, they don't ask a single damn question. I have run into this NUMEROUS times. I'll ask questions...but she won't ask a thing about me. I have to give her the information. Sorry, but if you were actually interested in getting to know me, I would figure you would have at least a FEW questions about me. That is certainly a complete frustration. Its those type of people that make me wonder why I even try, but of course there are plenty of incredible women to keep me goin. Not me. |

P.S. I see people do this with their phones when somebody calls and i see it in person, being blatantly ignored, consistantly. This is just childish, self-centered and overall dishonest if you actually are casually in the life. When people do these things, it has nothing to do with me, but themselves... that is why I am not upset by it, but confused. I am upset by such people for this ignorance and lack of compassion. I pity those that dont have enough love in their heart to make a small difference in somebody else's day. the phone thing puts a red flag up just for possible friendship as well. i don't want to be ignored. they need to tell me that they want, or don't want to talk to me, and i'm ok with that. |

Well now i can understand why people might not want to talk to you. Ya think? Why people don't get that being on forums and whineing about anything when they have had a bad day is dateing suicide? I can't speak for anyone else but I take note of how people conduct themselves and if I am interested or am even considering them for someone else how someone deals with stress is critical. |

This always hits a nerve... even some of my friends today do this. You can see them online (AIM, yahoo, etc.) but they dont ever initiate messaging. For my buds... I dont need anything from em, but if I saw somebody I know, I'd atleast say hi. How come all the girls I meet tell me I'm interesting and have really good conversations... excited to talk again, but doesnt unless I message first (which I dont care messaging first, but it'd be nice to actually see somebody wanting to talk rather than feeling obligated to respond). Maybe this is something you women do, 'playing hard to get' or some dumb ****, but the only message that I see is you are trying to be nice, but really dont care to put up with me. Even hints and references are very easily blurred. I (and probably most men) would rather you be blunt and possibly rude rather than try to let us down softly. "What are your thoughts, Hobbson?" I don't always IM every friend I see online. I don't expect them to IM me every time they see me online either. |

If I'm out with people (as you probably were if you saw them ignore a phone call), I probably will ignore a phone call unless it's important. I think that's better than those who are constantly answering the phone while they're out. The person can always be called back later. |

I'm always on ym invisible. Love my blackberry. But if I am actually available to chat i'll have some little phrase or something showing. People who buzz usually get ignored.
I don't often answer my phone if I'm out with someone. That's what vm is for. I don't do the call waiting and will hang up with you if you do it to me. That's just plain rude. |
