Do people intentionally try for a long term relationship, or is it something that just happens? Does it develop over time, from a sexual encounter to something more? Why do people post "long term relationship"? Do they mean anything longer than just one night?

Everyone wants something different and long term means different things to different people. I'm not sure anyone can sum this up for you.

well, in accounting terms, long term usually means more than one year, short term (current) usually means less than one year...so i suppose people who stay with each other for more than a year, planned or not, may be considered long term

Honestly the wham bam ty ma'am attack seems legit, but me personally, I don't like having my time wasted, and I don't want to waste another persons time. Which is why I only look long term. It's a little compromise I made with myself a long time ago.

Do people intentionally try for a long term relationship, or is it something that just happens? Does it develop over time, from a sexual encounter to something more? Why do people post "long term relationship"? Do they mean anything longer than just one night? That is my question exactly, then why post "long term relationship" There must be a reason for it? Is it wishful thinking? Just posting it because they think that is what women want to hear? |

I just can't put out the long term thing and think everything will turn out that way. |
