Slow Mo
Hurry up to get where? Organize and be prepared. What has happened to meandering? Innocence and wandering. I watched my babies take their time, It was all they knew. As my Dad becomes his age, You'd think 88 was two. The days are filled with so much stuff, Activities galore. The rush to beat the next minute, As moments squeeze through doors. Tonight I would love to be Just sitting across the table. Looking , listening as you talk, Know your breathing's stable. Could we just hold hands, And drink each other slowly? Past the hurry, beyond the go. And watch the sunset show? Raine Les 7/18/2009 |

As the candle flickers in the nights calm air,
